Miyax’s mum died when she was four. Since then, Miyax moved to Seal Camp with her dad, Kapugen. She had a lot of fun at Seal Camp. Though, she misses her mum sometimes.

One day, Miyax’s aunt came to Seal Camp and had an argument with Kapugen. She didn’t understand what the argument was about since she was pretty young. When the argument was finished, Kapugen said that she has to move somewhere else for education. Her father’s last words were “When the time comes, a marriage will be arranged for you.”

Miyax, now known as Julie, had enjoyed living with her aunt. She had made new friends and a new pen pal. Her Pen pal’s name is Amy. They post to each other a lot. Then one day, Julie had received a phone call from Naka that it is time to go. Julie knew that it was something that she wouldn’t enjoy but she had no choice.

When Julie arrived, she saw Naka with a lady and a boy. She knew that the lady is his wife and that the boy was his son. Julie knew right away that there was something wrong with the boy because his eyes were a bit dull and he looks kind of sloppy. When she walked to them, Nusan (Naka’s wife) noticed to look that Julie was having to Daniel (their son) and said that he does have some problems but he is a hard worker.

From now on, Julie lives with Naka’s family and is not enjoying it much. Even though she is marred to Daniel, they don’t talk a lot. They barely even look at each other. One day, Daniel had gone mad. He scared Julie so much that she decided to run away. She went to Pearls house (her close friend) and asked for stuff that she will need for her journey. Julie thanked her and is walking to San Francisco.
