Miyax’s mum died when she was four. From then, she went with her father, Kapugen to the seal camp. She was having so much fun and then when she turned 9, she was told by her father to start going to school and live with her aunt, Aunt Martha. From then she changed her name from Miyax to Julie. She was going quite well in school when one day, Aunt Martha tells her that Kapugen went in a seal hunt on a boat, he has not come back for a month and pieces of his boat was found on the shore.

Julie was very sad when she heard the news, but later she learned to forget about Kapugen. Then some other news came, she was told to marry Daniel since she was at the age of 13. So then, she flew to where Daniel was. There she met Naka, Daniel’s father, Nusan, Daniel’s mother and then of course, Daniel. Julie then learnt how to cook and sew for Nusan. Julie also made a pen pal, Amy and she wrote to her very often. All was going well when one day, Daniel came home angry, complaining that his friends were laughing at him because he was married but he couldn’t mate with Julie. Then Daniel tried to mate with Julie but Julie got away. Julie was upset and so she ran away from Daniel.

Julie then changed her name again, back to Miyax. She was planning to go to San Francisco, where her Amy was awaiting her. She was guessing that it would be about I week to get to San Francisco. But she was walking for more than a week with food but then the food ran out. So Miyax walked on without food when she saw some wolves. She decided to try to be a part of the pack. There, she met Amarouq, the leader of the wolves and Kapu, the leader of the puppies. She was very good friends with Kapu but not that good with Amarouq. There she could get food. Soon she was well with Amarouq as well. Then she found San Francisco and thus she had to leave the wolves, unfortunately.
