Nails is gray. Nails is a father of the pups when their real father can’t watch them. That’s why I think he must be old, because a young wolf can’t watch other young wolves. Because he is old, he must be big.

Nails is Amaroq’s dependable friend, and a spiritual father to the pups. He watches over the pups when their real father can’t. Nails takes orders from Amaroq, but stays close to Silver and the pups. He is Amaroq’s serious partner.

Nails’ and Julie’s/Miyax’s relationship probably is trustful. Miyax and Nails don’t really have much to do with each other, and that’s why I don’t know much about their relationship.

Amaroq’s and Nails’ relationship is trusting and loyal. The book says, “Nails was Amaroq’s serious partner”.

The relationship between Nails and Zit, Zat, and Zing must be trustful. Nails is second father to them. He watches over them all the time.
